The EU Toy Safety Regulations EN-71-1 states that Amber and Gemstone Necklaces, Bracelets and Anklets are not suitable for children under 36 months due to the composition of small parts. It states that these could be a choking and strangulation hazard. This is the same for any amber anklets, bracelets and necklaces, not just ours. Every effort has been made to make the jewellery as safe as it can be but it is imperative that children over 36 months who are wearing our pieces are supervised at all times. Our Amber/ Gemstone Necklaces, Bracelets and Anklets are for wearing and not chewing - please ensure that necklaces are not too long that they go over the child's chin and into their mouths. Necklaces must not be worn when the child is asleep, if worn around the ankle at night, please place a sock over the foot to ensure that it is kept on and not able to be rolled off and placed into the mouth.
