Celebrating achievement on a grand scale. 💙🤍
It was a pleasure to create the flowers for the recent Global Banking School Graduation at Wembley Stadium.
Working to the client’s blue and white branding, I suggested introducing a touch of soft yellow to bring warmth and vibrancy to the overall scheme. It lifted the palette beautifully while still feeling clean, fresh and professional.
The designs included flowing meadow-style arrangements across the front of the stage, large statement pedestals, thank you bouquets for speakers and classic posies for the VIP lunch tables. Together, they created a cohesive look that complemented the scale of the venue without distracting from the celebrations.
One of the biggest considerations for this event was longevity. The flowers were delivered on Sunday for ceremonies taking place on both Monday and Tuesday, so careful flower selection and thorough conditioning were essential. Roses and delphiniums were prepared well in advance, while reliable performers such as dianthus, chrysanthemums, eustoma, gladioli and eryngium ensured the arrangements stayed looking fresh throughout the event.
When I returned to collect everything, it was lovely to see the flowers still looking beautiful, especially the gladioli, which had continued to open and bloom over the two days😁.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about creating flowers that not only look beautiful when they’re delivered but continue to perform exactly as they’re intended.
I hope all the students had a great couple of days celebrating their achievements.
