My love of flowers and plants began at a very young age when I helped my nana (Polly) cut flowers from the garden - a traditional English garden with rose beds and a beautiful herbaceous boarder. In my heart I always knew I wanted to work with flowers, but it took me many years to find the right time to forge a new career and formally train as a florist. I trained at Merrist Wood College and was awarded City and Guilds Certificate in Floristry level 2 and 3 with Distinction. Working with flowers is a joy, and I love creating bespoke designs to give my customers something really special. I will work to guide and advise you whilst ensuring that your ideas, style and vision are brought to life in flowers, whether it be for a wedding, event or funeral tribute. I also provide and deliver gift bouquets .

It’s dahlia season 🌸 — and this is prime time for one of my favourite flowers.

From rich autumnal shades of burgundy, rust and plum to an incredible range of soft pinks, there’s a dahlia for almost every wedding palette. And the shapes are just as varied, from huge, blousy blooms to neat little pompoms.

If you’re a dahlia lover, this really is the time of year to get married!

These dahlias featured in a bouquet and bud vases at Easthampstead Park, adding colour, texture and plenty of late-summer character.

A little buttonhole tip for your wedding day 🌿

For men, your buttonhole traditionally sits on the left-hand side of your jacket, with the flowers pointing upwards.

When pinning it, place the pin through the stems from behind rather than straight over the front of the flowers. This keeps the pin hidden and prevents the buttonhole from moving or tipping.

For women, a buttonhole can be worn on the right-hand side or, if you’d like something a little more modern, a wrist corsage is a lovely alternative.

And don’t worry if you’re not quite sure what to do on the day. If I’m there, I’ll make sure everyone is looking their best!

It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas! Come and join me for a few lovely festive hours creating your own beautiful Christmas wreath.
I’ll provide everything you need - fresh seasonal foliage, decorative materials, equipment and plenty of guidance - plus some festive refreshments along the way. ✨
You don’t need to be crafty or have any experience, just come along, get creative and enjoy a little time out in the run-up to Christmas.

I had a lovely day at Stanlake Park for their wedding showcase on Sunday. 🤍

It was a busy one, with lots of couples coming through to look around the venue, meet suppliers and start imagining how their own wedding day might look.

As one of Stanlake Park’s partnered wedding florists, I created a selection of different floral designs to show just how much you can do with flowers ; from tall statement arrangements and loose meadow-style designs to bud vases and more traditional compote bowls.

I loved being able to show different approaches rather than one single “look”. Every wedding is different, and your flowers should reflect the way you want your day to feel.

It was also lovely to meet so many couples and hear all about their plans. If you came along and we chatted, it was wonderful to meet you!

When I say “meadow-style”, I don’t mean a vase simply packed with lots of flowers.

For me, a meadow-style design is about movement, texture and a slightly looser way of arranging flowers, allowing some stems to rise, some to move outwards and different flowers to sit at different heights.

There’s still a lot of thought behind it.

The flowers are chosen to work together, the shape is considered, and the overall design needs to feel natural without becoming untidy.

I love this style for weddings because it brings that feeling of the garden into the space and makes things feel a little more immersive. It can soften a more formal venue, add movement to a ceremony or make a long table feel much more relaxed and inviting.

Natural doesn’t mean unplanned! 🌿

You don’t need to know exactly what flowers you want before you come to me.

In fact, most of my couples don’t.

You might know you want something romantic and natural. Or that you love the feeling of an English garden. You might have saved hundreds of Pinterest images but still have no idea how any of it translates into your venue.

That’s where the consultation comes in.

We talk about what you love, what you don’t, your venue, the season you’re getting married in and, most importantly, how you want the day to feel.

From there, I use my knowledge of flowers, seasons, colour and design to bring it all together.

You don’t need to learn the names of flowers or arrive with a finished brief.

You just need to tell me what you like.

I’ll help you work out the rest. 🌿

🌻 A little throwback to this joyful sunflower-filled wedding at Wasing Park.

The sunflowers in my own garden are still going strong despite the definite change in weather, so it felt a fitting time to share these wedding images. There’s something about sunflowers that just makes you smile, and these were the perfect fit for such a happy, relaxed celebration.🌻

This wedding was full of gorgeous terracotta tones, warm textures and that lovely rustic feel.

A flower crown for the bride, outdoor ceremony flowers, stacked wooden crates and little vases filled with blooms created a relaxed, garden-inspired ceremony setting.

And, as always, I loved being able to repurpose the ceremony flowers afterwards, moving them onto the tables so the flowers could be enjoyed throughout the day.

Long tables were dressed with foliage running down the centre, dotted with bud vases and little pockets of flowers, creating a natural, abundant feel without being too formal.

A beautiful day, a gorgeous couple and flowers that felt completely at home at Wasing Park.
