Hey there peeps! Long time no speak. Just been enjoying the time with my kids especially now the summer hols are here, not working is working for me at the moment!

Thought I'd just come and share with you something exciting!

A VEGAN LIFESTYLE JOURNAL!

Yesterday I was privileged to attend the book launch of who wrote this wonderful guide that we can add our own notes to and make personal to us. It's everything I wished for as I started on my vegan journey and I wish it was around then. But luckily, because she's such an amazing person and animal advocate, Sadie has made it so that everyone starting out their journey has this helping hand. Truly awesome 👌

Today is world oceans day, vegans and plenty of non vegans across the world know only too well the devastation that humans have caused on land, but also in our oceans which is catastrophic.

Please go and give Sea Shepherd a look, follow them and get involved in local initiatives to help where we can.

A note from sea shepherd

'Today, June 8th, we herald the annual World Oceans’ Day around the world.

Like most ocean conservation groups, we have been asked what we are planning to do on this day. We wondered…should we do a global beach cleanup? A massive fundraiser? A call-to-action to stop illegal fishing? Ask that nobody eat fish?

But to be honest, none of those actions seemed quite right.

No Sea Shepherd Group will be holding any special events at all on World Oceans’ Day apart from simply reflecting on the far-reaching scope of the peril our oceans are in. What we WILL do, however, is continue to help the oceans today and on the other 364 days of the year…because for Sea Shepherds everywhere, EVERY DAY is World Oceans’ Day. Every day we fight to protect the Earth’s source of all life. Humanity doesn’t need one day to remember that, it needs a reminder EVERY DAY just as our founder, Captain Paul Watson, so eloquently reminds us, “If the oceans die, we die.” So starting today and for the next 364 days of the year, we are asking our supporters to act every day for a better ocean.'

Hey!

I'm at the cafe having a good clear out, and taking down my posters.

Incase you never got the chance, here they are. Useful I think!

Thanks for those who came to see me yesterday and support RSPCA Central Suffolk. It was great to see you and we really enjoyed doing an event... 😃 it was so good to serve people burgers, hotdogs, chilli jacket potatoes, cheese and bean jacket potatoes and falafel & houmous salads, plus our trusty sausage rolls and I really feel like most people had no idea they were munching on plant food!!! YESSSS!!!!! We can't be selling bits of cows and pigs to raise money for pets, can we? We had some great feedback and that was the whole aim of it for me.

Keep following the page, those of you that have come and seen me and given me the best hugs I've had in years have told me you still need us. I'll spend the summer formulating plans.... 🤣

If anyone is interested in any stock from the shop, please message me and we can let you know what we have.

Oh gosh, I don't know what to say. I dare not say we will be open tomorrow 😧😧

I really am gutted as I wanted to see as many of you as I could, but I can't do it alone. 😕

I will hopefully post tomorrow with a positive open sign!

We are definitely at The RSPCA fun day Sunday in Martlehsam if you want to come and support that and see me there.
That's where I'll be for our last day open. The cafe should be open Sunday as well.

I'm really sorry, it really is out of my hands. Please still love me!!! ❤️ 💚
