You know what that is? That's 1.4kg of aluminium. That's what that is. Mixed with copper (89% Cu, 11% Al), it makes a bronze comparable in toughness to steel with a beautiful golden sheen.

This dowsing pendulum is ten years old today.
This was a wonderful project to work on. After being approached by someone who mentioned an extraordinary artefact they first saw in a dream, I was asked if I could build it for them.
This is what I came up with.
It is quite an honour to be asked to undertake this kind of project. Quite literally making someone's dreams come true.

In an attempt to circumvent the group that I lost at the start of this year (about which Facebook has been no help whatsoever), I have set up a new Instagram account that is to be devoted solely to my work. It will be linked to my new page and Facebook group and I truly hope that you will follow along.
I am coming to the end of my current run of commissions and, as soon as they are complete, I will be trying some new techniques in the workshop and keeping a video diary of my journey.
