Gosh its been so hot this week but im feeling very grateful as our home and the shop face the right way with garden getting gorgeous sunshine and the front of the house is cool. The walls are pretty thick so it feels lovely and cool to be indoors. Lots of water to keep fresh and hydrated keep an eye on the young and elderly if you can as the next couple of days are going to be scorching. I’m also having a summer sort and will have another table top soon. Summer beans are on the menu for alfresco dining. Happy Wednesday everyone. 💙

I’m with the larks this morning as it’s vintage market day and we are also having a table top sale of odds and sods. is setting up with her beautiful collection of vintage preloved books and magazines an edit from her world of design art and creativity. It’s going to be a scorcher but it’s always worth a visit. Colours are looking so pretty in an our windows it’s a happy weekend.

Heading further into June the stunning hydrangeas and peonies are now blossoming. Adding flowers and colour to our home lifts my spirits and makes me happy. We have family home today so I’ll be arranging the dining room plumping up the cushions and pulling together the small details that bring my home together. Having been away I’m enjoying returning with fresh ideas - I’m still a big fan of a pop of colour via flowers or chairs a wall with a patterned paper but always keep it simple. The red Italian chairs along side 4 original white Eames chairs will be here tomorrow as part of our vintage sale offering with a collection of gorgeous books from - Happy Friday all. 💙

Coming home is always wonderful but I really had the best few days away. There’s nothing better than some warm weather to make you smile. Warm your bones and rest. I found my happy place in Homespun Clothing beautiful Greek home. A gorgeous backdrop of white with simple ceramics and textiles I fell in love with Skalahori. We laughed and chatted ate dippy eggs with marmite from home. A fabulous visit to a local pottery had to be done. Lots of sleeping on the beach as the sun hits the sea and reading my book. Now back in my home and our shop and have a lot to sort for the weekend vintage market. We will have chairs and fabrics and some vintage plates jugs and cushions along side beautiful books. Happy Thursday it’s market day so also a refresh of flowers. 💙

Just leaving for my flight will be sharing more from my amazing stay in Greece. My heart is full and so is my belly from eating delicious fresh seafood juicy tomatoes and feta that I’ve never tasted before. The light and views are fantastic. No filter the blue is the incredible light. Big thank you to lovely Sam Homespun Clothing for totally looking after me. I will be returning. Can’t believe in a few hours I’ll be back in Woodbridge and our shop. 💙

Good morning Hope we are all well and enjoying the sunshine. While I’m away having some gorgeous quality time with Homespun Clothing my dear friend and the team are getting ready for this coming weekend as we have the Vintage market and I’m excited to say Laura is going me in the shop with a stunning collection. Laura has accumulated many books and magazines for over 40+ years; all related to her passion of art, design, fashion, architecture and all things to do with the East Anglia coast. Now she has begun to edit and select some of her collection to pass on for others to enjoy. Please come and say hello and enjoy these finds. We will also have some vintage chairs fabric and bits and pieces from my own collection. See you Saturday the 20th. Happy days and love from Greece. 💙

Fabulous bank holiday weekend a bracing morning swim and delicious food. Roasted tomatoes with butter beans on creamy Greek yoghurt may now go to recipe. The beach at Southwold is glorious it’s so restorative to walk bare foot plunge into the cold salty water. Long Walks lots of tea drinking - a holiday fate watching the local Morris dancers then couldn’t resist some plants to add into our garden. Lots of love for our refreshed windows with the hand printed collection from .living they are so on point for Summer vibes. Fell inlove with a vintage car show cool. Happy happy Beach huts and time with friends and my Hen - it’s half term and we are here if you’re in Woodbridge. It’s going be another hot day but woken early so enjoying slightly cooler temperatures remember to drink lots of water. 💙

I wish I had more image space for my day - have wanted to go to this amazing event so many times but never made it. Yesterday was magical I got to spend the day helping our talented Suffolk creative on her gorgeous stand. Such a busy day surrounded by her beautiful collection of cards prints and trays. Was so lovely to chat to people then I had a wonderful time seeing the gardens in all their glory. There’s so much to see you need a full day. I bumped into .witham a Swedish friend and gardener and saw had a stand. Got to wear my beautiful dress from which is one of my favourites. I’ll definitely be returning it’s an inspiration for planting so good to see so many natural plants being used the colours are inspiring. I also looked at all the green houses as I’d live my on little space to ponder. One of my favourites was the garden with the studio nestled amongst nature - Have a lovely Friday all and a restful long weekend. 💙

Had such a lovely restorative morning with and a lovely bunch of creatives. So good to come together to chat about our goals, likes dislikes, things we are passionate and care about. Helping to support one another when you need to hear a different point of view. Got to use the fabulous tablecloth Handprinted in a stunning stripe looking so good with tulips a lovely gift from Kay. Love this cosy room and I’m so happy with the pink rocker sitting along side the vintage bright red lacquered chairs. Happy Thursday all I’m off for a special day up and on the train to London. 💙
