Breathtaking footage from Astro La Vista of last night’s solar eclipse was captured in Suffolk, where The Adventures of Smokey and Friends book series is based.

A detailed close-up timelapse of the August 12th, 2026 Solar Eclipse, captured from Suffolk, England, where the Moon covered approximately 91% of the Sun at maximum eclipse.

The eclipse was captured using a Sky-Watcher ST80 refractor mounted on a StarQuest DX mount, with a Baader solar film filter and ZWO ASI585MC camera.
