Where have I been you may ask after not posting on here for a while, well......

I have been concentrating on producing some very special farewell flowers arrangements, some of which you will see on this reel.

It has been a very difficult season, for all of us growers, with the drought and trying to keep things alive....a real challenge.

Decisions have had to be made who shall live and who will just fade away as it virtually impossible to keep everything going.

It's the opportunity that stretch me, the challenges that strengthen me and moments that remind me of how far I've come... as the wonderful Alice Armstrong Scales teaches us

What a wonderful weekend! It was so good to meet so many people all keen to pick British Flowers!

My thanks to all who came and for all the chats and laughs along the way.

I shall definitely be offering PYO flowers again!

The next one planned is on 19th & 20th September. We shall be in full swing with the dahlias, amongst other flowers by then.

We are doing something we've never done before on Saturday July the 11th and Sunday July 12th from

We are inviting you to come and enjoy some time cutting your own flowers at our flower farm from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What better way to spend an hour or two then amongst beautiful flowers on a summer's day

£25 for a pick your own container, which we provide, with snips, for you to take out in the flowers plot.

You will take home some beautiful seasonal, chemical free flowers after picking them,.which is a wonderful mindful activity.

I was extremely honoured to have been asked to create a farewell tribute for the most distinguished and beloved British actor David Burke.

He had a great love for literature and was especially fond of poetry, in particular love poems.

He leaves behind a profound legacy on both stage and screen and he was a gentleman who enriched every role he played.

The roses were David's favourites from his own garden.

We had a really smashing morning with these lovely ladies in a hand-tied bouquet workshop.

The weather was so much kinder today so we were able to tour the flowers and cut some extras for bouquets as well.

Thank you all for coming, you made some beautiful bouquets and it always amazes me that given the same flowers, how no two bouquets ever look alike.

It was an absolute delight to take these lovely WI ladies on a tour of flowers this evening.

The weather was kind and we even had sunshine for our walk. The rain came just as it was tea and cake time in the studio, so perfect.

Thank you for coming ladies to learn about flower farming and how fantastic British flowers are.

A couple of months again I created these farewell flowers to cover the entire top of the coffin.

I used 6 individual cardboard trays arrangements that, when push together, looked like a continuous arrangement. The whole thing was completely compostable.

Two of these trays came home with me for the flowers to be dried and turned into 2 memorial wreaths for the family to keep.

Such a lovely idea
