Answer Glass chopping boards. These are kryptonite to knives if you have one throw it away or use as a serving platter.

Very busy today served around 200 covers for Sunday lunch. I sharpened the knives a day before. Quick run over a honing steel every half and hour still razor sharp at the end of day. Please message me if you would like to make your knives happy again. Thanks Ben

Q&A (the most asked question I get).

How often do knives need sharpening and how long will they remain sharp?

ANSWER. if you are using your knives at home they will probably need sharpening every 6-12 months. In a commercial kitchen every 8-12 weeks.

Regarding how long they will stay sharp unfortunately not long however 30 seconds of light honing on a steel will bring them right back. A video tutorial on how to use a honing rod coming soon.
