Good Morning everyone, I know I’ve been quiet again but I was waiting for this. Firefly Aran now back in stock including 4 new shades. This yarn is fabulous but you need to feel it to appreciate just how clever the composition is so come on down and have a squeeze for yourself 😃

Good Morning everyone, I know this week has been difficult I have had to close some days due to a family situation and I know how frustrating it can be to turn up to a closed business. All I can say is I really appreciate everybody’s patience and understanding you are all brilliant and I promise things will be back to normal next week. In the meantime have a look at this Super Chunky Christmas king Cole yarn 20% wool and a beautiful soft feel. Now with a £1 per ball off the rrp it represents fantastic value at just £3.49 per 100g ball while stocks last.

Good Morning everyone, I hope everybody has had a great bank holiday weekend. I’m sorry it was quiet last week just seemed like the days got away from me. Just to let you all know we will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 2nd September due to a family situation, this cannot be avoided and I hate closing the shop but sometimes when you work on your own there just isn’t any other choice. On the bright side the haberdashery and thread stands have all been topped up and are ready to be gazed upon. Have a great day 😃

Morning everyone, just a note to let you all know that there will be some slight changes to our opening hours this week. Thursday and Friday we will be closing at 4pm and on Saturday 3pm it’s just for this week and is unfortunately unavoidable I hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience. Also both sizes in Toy Filling back in stock now.

Morning everyone! Saturday again already I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are rolling by. Anyway I was thinking this morning about one or two underrated products that we have on the shelves and I thought the James Brett Shhhh range is a perfect example of this, it’s such a versatile yarn because of its construction it can be knitted just as easily to a 4 ply pattern as the dk it is intended to be. It has 20% real wool content and the Kicker….there is circa 500 metres on a ball. It’s just great value and I’ve just topped the colours up so come down and try some if only to shut me up 😃

Happy Friday everybody, just a quick note to say I have just finished restocking some of our brilliant baby yarns, Baby Marble, baby sparkles and the glitz range are now all looking good and we even have a couple of colours we haven’t seen for a while. Morning Everyone hope you are enjoying the slightly cooler weather this week. I was topping up the shelves this morning when a lady phoned me and asked do you have all the chenille colours in stock at the moment? To which I replied I’m not sure about all but we are Che-nearly there! 😂 Why not pop down today and see for yourselves, someone naughty has even sneaked a Christmas one at the top of the shelf, honestly the audacity.
