Good morning Worcestershire! Today brings us the release of White Dwarf Issue 527. The team have picked out some of their highlights:
Steve: "The new rules for playing as a solo adventurer in Warhammer Quest: Darkwater are really exciting as it means I can run the Druid straight away and fit games in around campaigns. The Secrets of the Jade Abbey article is a wonderful dive into the lore of the setting of Darkwater and anyone that knows me knows I like my stories. An extra highlight was the amazing Gitmob army showcased in the Tale of Four Warlords."
Jack: "My favourite part has got to be the Black Library section. Part 1 of the tale Voyage of the Saltfyre, From Under Clawed Foot. Seeing two Skaven crawl themselves away from a battle only to find a dimly lit ship full of rival clanrats was very interesting with my favourite line from Bluetongue the not-so-great Deathmaster. Mumbling to himself he just stops and softly says "For now, just tell me who to kill". This gave me shivers and I can't wait to read more. I also really like the 11th edition Warhammer 40,000 cheat sheet card. It's really well laid out and will be so useful for my next games".
Markus: "The designers notes article by the minitatures design team was a real highlight for me. They go into real depth on all of the cool little details of the Marines and Orks in the Armageddon box. I also really like the journey back in time across all the previous editions of Warhammer 40,000 from Rogue Trader to today."
