We are the largest stockist of sewing machines in Worcestershire. We are lucky enough to have a classroom on site where we offer tution and classes.

We also have a range of haberdashery, sewing, embroidery and patchwork and quilting items along with over 800 bolts of 100% cotton fabric to choose from.

Join us for a festive patchwork and quilting workshop and create your very own Christmas Village Cushion. - Designed by Sarah Wellfair from Goose Chase Quilting.
This charming handmade cushion would make a wonderful Christmas gift, especially for a new home or to celebrate someone’s first Christmas in their new place.
Although our sample has a festive feel, your cushion doesn’t have to be made in traditional Christmas fabrics — choose your own colours, prints and style to create something completely unique that can be enjoyed all year round.

Spaces are limited – book early to avoid missing out!

Prep work:
Two weeks before the workshop, you’ll receive a fabric requirements list along with preparation instructions. We kindly ask that you cut and prepare your fabrics in advance. It is important that all of your fabric pieces are cut and ready before the class so you can make the most of your class time and enjoy plenty of time sewing
your project.

You will learn:
• How to accurately cut fabric pieces for patchwork
• How to piece and sew the Christmas village design together
• How to achieve neat, accurate seams and match up your patchwork pieces
• How to layer your cushion front with wadding and backing fabric
• Useful patchwork and quilting skills that can be used for future projects
• How to construct and neatly finish your cushion cover

✨ What a wonderful weekend of sewing! ✨

Our students have been busy learning new techniques, building their confidence and putting their skills into practice — all while creating something truly special. 🧵✂️

By the end of the workshop, our students had completed a beautiful jacket to wear and enjoy! 🧥💛

A particularly proud moment for one student who had never used a sewing machine before — and look what they achieved! Their excitement and sense of accomplishment were absolutely wonderful to see. 🌟
