Day 10 Post Total Knee Replacement Surgery .... today has been a good day, first proper shower (with dressing wrapped in cling film 😅) and a quick coffee at a coffee shop. Now back home sitting with ice wrap, leg elevated and a couple of painkillers. Exercises to follow.
This is such an up and down journey, Days 8 and 9 were bad ones .... very little sleep, pain and stiffness in the knee - so hard to imagine it ever being better, then comes Day 10. You just can't predict what each day will bring. I'm going to enjoy this one. ☕️ ☕️ 🚿 🛁

Hello everyone - just a quick update.
I’ll be taking a little break from earring making for a bit because I’m headed in for a knee replacement surgery at the end of the month! 🦴💻
​Truth be told, between the "pre-op jitters" and this cranky knee, my creative spark has been a bit more "flicker" than "flame" lately and I’ve been struggling to make or finish anything - I think my body is officially telling me it’s time to trade the jewelry pliers for some ice packs and physical therapy. 🧊 Although my mind doesn't like the sound of it. 🤫
I will still be here, posting updates and anything that makes me smile, as I know I am going to miss you all.
Hopefully it won't be long before I'm back to "normal" (something to aim for 😆) and
​becoming "The Bionic Woman" (or at least someone who can walk the dog or get out of the car).
