Black heavy metal guitars conquer all.

Setups in drop A for both, 13's on the Jackson and 45-130 on the Nez bass as supplied by the customer.

The two way truss on the bass had been set over tightened for a long time. Resulting in a mega bow and insane action. Not what you need when playing 190 bpm death metal. It's really important that your truss is set just tight enough to give you the neck relief you need. Set too tight for long periods may result in actually permanently shaping the neck into that 'bow' - it is basically just a wood plank after all. Once it takes that shape your truss might have a hard time getting it back to where it should be again. This can result in always having a high action and difficulties with fret leveling.

If your unsure just leave it alone, let me do it.

Fret dress for a 335.

Customer also had issues when using his capo, not necessarily related to the fret wear. Capo's apply much more pressure to the strings than if you are barring naturally. Consider that to avoid tuning issues within the band and get a tension adjustable capo.

The value of your instrument isn't it's price tag. It's how much it means to you.

So if your cheap Uke gets an unfortunate visit from a PA speaker one day, it might well be worth fixing. Depending on what it means to you.

Some tech talk -Yep no splines/food fillets/bracing. The glue sets stronger than wood. With a good surface area and nice clamping why create work for yourself? Also, Nylons.

Another acoustic in due to it's 'unplayable' action.

I swear every guitarist must have an acoustic that is an absolute pain to play. Get it serviced.

It could be your saddle, nut slots and in a lot of cases a 'bellied' top. Solution for all of this is a service and probably a lighter gauge.

A good old fashioned 'I wont intonate' Tele.

Unfortunately, due to a heavy 'tumble in the dark'. This Tele took a heavy hit one of the frets, causing a deep dint.

Fret replaced, spot level and serviced.
