Samantha Hall Design produces eco-friendly British Wildlife Inspired Gifts and Homewares. Local to Making every design special in its own way.

Here at Samantha Hall, I design beautiful eco-friendly products that are inspired by the English countryside. Everything that I paint or draw, comes from what I see around me. All of my designs start off as watercolour paintings, that I transform into beautiful patterns. I use a very natural colour palette that reflects the UK's meadows, forests and animals. As well as being great to look at, all of my products are eco-friendly. The fabrics that I print onto are 100% cotton and are either sourced from the UK or Europe. The inks that I use to print with are water based inks, meaning everything is 100% planet friendly. Also, all of my packaging and anything else that I may source is 100% natural and sourced from forests that are well looked after. If you would like to know more, head on over to my website:

Finley’s 5 months tomorrow what?! It has gone so quickly and so slow at the same time. I’m finally getting into a rhythm and starting to really enjoy being with him.

At first it was hard to not do any work. I felt so guilty for not working on the business and for not pushing it forward. But I quickly learnt that it is ok to slow down and to enjoy this time. Finley is only small once.

However! This September I do have some newness coming which I’ve been planning since before his arrival. I can’t wait to show you🙌

Today me and Matt were treated by my parents to a pottery class for my birthday!

Scarlett was amazing and taught us how to sculpt, use the wheel and paint 🙌

It was so nice to be able to take some time out to be creative and to learn something new.

Matt was a whizz on the wheel and kept going back for more. Where as I think I preferred creating my wonky lighthouse. It was great to be able to create something that wasn’t as polished and commercial ready and to just go with the flow!

Can’t wait to see how they turn out in a few weeks. If you’re in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight then definitely check this place out!

Wondering what running a stationery business with a newborn actually looks like?

Spoiler: it involves a nursing pillow, a strong cup of coffee and a lot of multitasking!

The past few months have been a whirlwind! But I’m slowly resurfacing and I’m now back part time with a team helping me🙌 Matt my husband has been so amazing. While I’ve been looking after Finley and designing, he’s been packing your orders, answering emails and being innovative! More info soon on what he’s been creating 👀 We can’t forget Laura who has been doing some marketing too!

We’ve been working well as a team and it’s actually quite fun! 🤣 Thank you Matt and Laura ❤️

After a well-earned maternity break, I’m ready to get back to doing Samantha Hall Designs, albeit with a little helper in tow. That means wholesale orders are officially open again from TODAY.

It’s nearly time to close my shop as I head onto maternity leave 😱 It has come around sooooo fast 😱 Feeling very nervous and excited at the same time.

I was so nervous about letting you all know about my pregnancy as I wasn’t sure what the reaction would be. But honestly you’ve all been so lovely and I’ve felt so much love and kindness.

The notebooks seconds sale is here!! Go grab a bargain before they’re gone 👀 I know some have gone already because you lot are sneaky.

A couple of things - so these notebooks have maybe some marks, bent pages or have foiling on them because they were used for photoshoots. They only have minor imperfections and are 100% usable. Ooo and they start from £4!? Go and take a look 👀
