S A T U R D A Y S O M E T H I N G S

Our flowers will be back on our beloved South Street this Saturday 15th Aug. Come grab a posy and a coffee and let’s catch up. I’m so excited to see you again!

Find us at En Route, 1-3 South Street, Tarring. Literally on the crossing, North side.

There will be a mix of cutie posies and beautiful bouquets, but if you need anything specific please let me know by Thursday and I’ll do my best to sort it for you. Or even if it’s not specific but you want to make sure you get yours, drop me a message to reserve.

One day we’ll be back to regular flowers, and I so hoped we would have been already, but for now I’m just doing what I can, when I can and practicing being ok with that. It would be just the utter best to see lots of your faces again on this little Saturday show up!

So, see you Saturday for a little floral something. I can’t wait.

I T S W I T H A H E A V Y H E A R T . . .

2 years ago we opened this little shop of ours having never run a business, having no idea how it would do, having never ordered plants before…just 18 years of floristry experience working for other people and the belief I could do it on my own

From our first week I knew this community had me. The warmth and well wishes that came into our tiny space was beyond wonderful, and that has grown every day since. This pocket of Worthing is so special. I’m honoured to have been able to give back to the place that welcomed us both in business and as our home. When we opened, the goal was always to be a community shop - open for chats, hello’s, tears, advice…as well as flowers and plants. My favourite thing has been meeting you all and my highlights have been meeting some of you as couples, watching your babies grow, and getting to know your little ones as they’ve come into the world and been in to say hi.

Thank you all for giving me the freedom to be creative in what I love, for trusting me with your floral gifting, weddings, funerals and special events. It’s never missed on me how lucky I am.

I hope I can see as many of you as possible before the awkwardly angled door closes for the last time, and I hope I’ll see many of you in our next phase for POT & POSY. Your support over the last two years has given me more than I can explain. It’s not just business. It’s a belonging and a belief in myself and my work.

Business has never been better, and the consistency I’ve been working for has come in the last few months, typically, but now is the right time for change and I’ve had to put my head where my heart normally drives.

I’m crying now so I’ll wrap it up and see you soon!

S H E D I D I T !

9 weddings and a funeral in one month. One pair of hands, one brain, one tired but elated business owner! A post to follow on all the work but just a THANK YOU here for now, for choosing P&P. My final September bride just collected and as she walked away with the last bits, I burst into tears! Happiness, relief, sadness, exhaustion, gratitude and all the other feels together.

9 weddings
1 funeral
Shop to run
1 nephew born
1 memorial walk
Half the month with family staying from Australia, half the month of missing them
A huge, all consuming decision made for our family
1 potential ‘Best Florist’ award not sorted out in time
And quite a lot of other stuff too!

Now…time to plan Xmas!

Pausing after a hectic couple of work weeks running along side some large changes outside of the shop walls. Need a little space for some clarity, putting some plans in place and getting on top of all the admin that’s been buried under many a wedding flower over the last week and a bit.
Will be responding to all emails and messages during these days. If you’ve been waiting for a reply, it’s coming, I promise.
