Last two days (Thursday & Saturday) for the current stock range on the central tables in Space No. Eight. The Rock LPs and the £3 CDs are due for a well earned break with fresh lines heading to the shop next week. More on this next week.

On Thursday, I'm adding some unusual items to the Clearance Vinyl, in particular some multiple LP Box Sets reduced to £2 (5 for £5) for all you bargain hunters. Talking of unusual. I've been hand picking some brilliant Classical LPs for the clearance area and another 1000 are due in over the next month. If you're in to your Classical, now's the moment to pop in.

Some great Box set DVDs currently on a half price sale in the unit at the moment, so pop in for a bargain.

As ever, Dave & Elaine are adding to the great range of stuff that they fill the shelves with. Brilliant.

Lastly. If you have some Rock CDs or LPs and you want to sell them, pop in. I'll give you a decent price. Hope you like the picture. Viv, my Grand Daughter drew it!!

I always have a cunning plan. Occasionally, I smell like Baldrick.

The plan.

Space No. Eight is trying to develop multiple retro-niches and making them grow as quickly as possible. There are lots of possible runners and riders. The cunning plan tomorrow all depends on whether I can relocate some absolutely quality Classical LPs to a table adjacent to well over 1000 retro-classical CDS. We'll see. That's the 9.00am spot sorted.

Then...

Then comes the 3 units that I need to either relocate or introduce to the LP corner where all the oober-cheap LPS are stashed. Sort and file. Must remember the signs. Those damned signs.

Then....

Then I've got a Kallax unit freed up. What then? Wait for Elaine says I. She'll know

What next?

Loads of CDS coming through the door on Saturday. Hawkwind & Tull included. Everything brought in tomorrow will be in the £3 + category, all with offers on them. An extra 100 60-100 track CD compilations on the way in for all of you Comp collectors. Some great titles, Soul, Rock & Jazz included.

Last week starting tomorrow of a brilliant range of Rock LPs, NEW & SECOND HAND included. Some 1500 Rock titles.......all with offers.

On The DVD front. We've got a series of DVD box sets at 50% of the normal price. Bargain!
.....and there's loads more. Dave & Elaine have been loading up the Sports shirts, the general clothing section, the Arts & Craft range and so much more.

If you love books, so do we. History galore and hundreds of Novels. Something for everyone.

Dave & Elaine are opening up today, along with Thursday and Saturday this week. Yay! This week will be the penultimate week in the Rock LP cycle and after next week the pre-owned Pop & Commercial Rock LPs will come onboard. It looks like the LPS will have at least 4 different cycles, one of them being composed of a range of great pre-owned and Brand New niches (Soul, Jazz, Country, Folk & Blues), but I'll let you know more about this if and as.
The £3 CD selection will also remain in place for another week
For the Classical lovers, we have been doing a special £2 for a unit, 20 for £20 so if you fancy a quantity purchase, please ask Dave (or Elaine or self)

This week, Space No. Eight will be open on Tuesday (10-4) and Wednesday (10-2). Unfortunately Dave & Elaine have an event coming up at the weekend that they are attending and the shop can't be open either Thursday or Saturday. If you do get the chance, we'll look forward to seeing you over the next 2 days, if not either next Thursday (13th) or Saturday (15th).

I'm making no stock changes this week or next and so the central tables will have a selection of BRAND NEW and SECOND HAND Rock titles on sale over the next 2 weeks. The rest of the shop will see some tweaking and every week Dave and Elaine add to the range of offer in hand. We are also adding to the (late) Chris Reynolds items on sale, and will try to add to the range of Soul (and other genres) Vinyl/7"/12"/LP on display. We are currently expanding the Clearance LPS, a popular category, and one customer bought 22 LPs at £1 each on Saturday. Buy that man a pint!.

Just assembling a lucky dip box of CDS. Each will contain 50 CDS. These are culled from existing stocks. I might have 2 of them in Space No. Eight on Saturday. These will be priced at £5 per box if you want one. we open at 10pm. Might see you there

I'm adding to the Rock selection tomorrow with some additional non-Rock artists that I keep getting asked about. Who might they be you say? In the pre-owned area, along will be coming a selection of Queen and Beatles LPS, as well as my sole XTC offer (sorry folks).

In the Rock CDS, I'm going to bring along a fresh selection of titles priced at 4 for £10 as well as some more expensive classics.

If you do have Rock CDS to sell or P/X, tomorrow would be a good day to pop them in. I'm going to try and press on with pricing the unique Chris Reynolds Vinyl collection, with lots or rare Soul, Northern Soul and Reggae in store. More on this as we move along.

No doubt, Dave and Elaine will have added to their unique selection of Arts & Crafts related products around Space No. Eight as well as the growing book and clothing selection in-house.
