Hi everyone, it has been a while since last posting anything... the laser had had a little rest while the hooks have worked overtime.... this weekend I have set myself a challenge on how much I can make with 200g of wool.... this is the outcome....

Good evening, it has been a busy few weeks for us. Apples for a granddaughter, an army of bunnies hopping to a very special toddler group and tiny flower arrangements for mothering Sunday and special people. I am now working on a blanket made up of unfinished projects. Have a lovely weekend.

A new tool in the workshop.....& no, it's not me! 😂

We have added a 3d printer. A small upgrade to our equipment that will enable us to make a big difference to how we run things on a day to day basis.

In the video you can see it making a smoke extraction duct, that we designed, for one of the lasers, that we are unable to acquire elsewhere.

So, that's the plan with this - no novelty items, just useful parts made in-house that helps everything else work better.

Following on from yesterday's post - here's the finished sign.

Cut from walnut and finished with beeswax to bring out the deep colour of the wood.

Perfect for homes where pets are definitely part of the family.

This one’s for pet owners — where home usually involves routines, familiar noises, and at least one animal absolutely convinced it owns the place. Walnut works well for pieces like this: it cuts cleanly, holds detail, and settles nicely once it’s finished.

And here it is, finished.

This is the board we were engraving in our last post — cleaned up, oiled, and ready to be displayed.
Solid acacia wood, personalised with names and a year that actually mean something.

These pieces aren’t made to be hidden in a drawer. They’re made to sit out, catch the eye, and quietly remind you why they exist.

It’ll get more comments than knife marks — which suits it just fine.
