Multi-award winning Plassey is set in 247 acres of magnificent park and woodland in the beautiful Dee Valley, near to the picturesque villages of Overton and Bangor-On-Dee. Privately owned and managed for over 60 years, the Brookshaw family have developed the former dairy farm's land and buildings into the Holiday Park, Retail Village & Golf Course. Its premier amenities include a Touring Caravan

Park with its own indoor heated swimming pool, children's adventure playground, state-of-the-art amenity building, and a number of deluxe and premier pitches equipped with full services. The glamping accommodation includes 10 Studio Lodges and 4 Safari Tents, all with underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchens and sumptuous bathrooms, and not forgetting each with their own private 6 person Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. In addition to the Holiday Park, Plassey also houses a thriving Retail Village, with businesses ranging from boutiques, hand-made crafts, and a hair & beauty studio, to a traditional blacksmith and computer suppliers. The former stable block is now home to a Coffee Shop and we even have a Welsh independent Micro Brewery, The Plassey Brewery. Visitors to the Retail Village are also most welcome to bring the family for a gentle stroll along the 2 miles of Nature trail walks or have a play on the Welsh Castle children's adventure playground. For keen golfers, we have a splendid 9-hole Golf Course (4,961 yard, Par 66) which is set in beautiful undulating parkland of The Plassey. Affiliated to both the Denbighshire and Welsh Golfing Unions, it offers a challenging set of holes for all to enjoy with a comfortable golf clubhouse to relax in after your game. Friday means changeover day in our luxury Glamping Lodges & Safari Tents! 🏕️🌿

While one set of guests head home, our brilliant team gets straight to work — fresh bedding, fluffy towels, sparkling hot tubs and everything cleaned & prepared ready for our new arrivals. 🛏️🫧✨

Lots goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything is just right… all part of the Plassey welcome! 💜

🌞😎 Eclipse Madness at The Plassey! 😎🌞

Well… it all went a bit BONKERS at Plassey Retail Village this morning! 🤯😂

Hundreds of people queued from 7AM for Warren’s Solar Eclipse Glasses at Warren Starling Psychic medium
Free Spirit Psychic Shop — a full 3 hours before the shop even opened!

Around 700 pairs have flown out over the last week and a half, with the latest 200 pairs selling out today! 🔥🌒

Warren even made the news — without The Leader coming down to capture the incredible queues! 📰📸

👏 And despite the huge demand, Warren kept them at just £5 a pair rather than cashing in and increasing the price.

Who knew a Tuesday morning at The Plassey could look like this?! 😂☀️🌒

🎉 I’ve got something exciting to share…

I’m John Brookshaw, owner of The Plassey, and next April I’ll be taking on the 🏃‍♂️ London Marathon 2027 in aid of The Christie Charity. 💙

In April 2025, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). After months of chemotherapy and a life-saving stem cell transplant at The Christie, I’m now training to take on 26.2 miles.
