Also been working on a beautiful Pan American Silver Alto - this has all original snap on pads apart from three that have been replaced - its probably about 80/90 years old - Was in desperate need of a clean, oil & regulate - this sax sounds fantastic - it definitely has that vintage horn cutting sound

As well as doing a full strip clean and rebuilding of Kev's Pan American, I did the same with my 1929 Conn New Wonder II. The Pan-American is the little brother of the Conn New Wonder - the key layout is identical and both have the massive American horn sound - they were probably built by the same technicians - The Conn is on the left- it has a very 'used' look - Both play really well now.

I have recently serviced and repaired this lovely Bauhaus Walstein Soprano. It's finished with a bronze body and gold pad fittings and looks stunning. It had the tiniest of leaks on the low B, Bb and C keys, which I have repaired. it also had a clunky sticky octave mechanism which is now fixed. It's been serviced, cleaned, oiled and then play tested, and it plays very nicely - Have had fun playing it this morning, before it goes back to its owner on Sunday!!
