Breakfast, brunch, lunch, homemade cakes, fresh coffee and countryside views all weekend long.

For over 210 years, the Windmill has had a story — and that story has always been shaped by people.

Jelena is from Latvia, and for the last 3 years she’s been a huge part of life here at the Windmill — cooking, baking, and helping bring so much of our food to life.

Working alongside Head Chef Adam, she’s grown hugely in confidence and skill over the years, and has become a really important part of the kitchen team.

She’s become part of the team, part of this countryside family, and now part of the Windmill’s story too.

Talented, hardworking, and always smiling — we’re very lucky to have her.

The story continues.

Join us on Saturday 30th May from 11am–4pm for a day filled with artisan stalls, family activities, food, drinks and plenty to explore around the site.

From handmade gifts and creative makers to steam train rides, outdoor crafts and a hog roast — there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Something a little special is coming to Wymondham Windmill… 🧸✨

We’re excited to be teaming up with HIGH HOPES for Teddy Adventures — a magical family event filled with woodland exploring, teddy bear fun & zip wire, and a teddy bear afternoon tea picnic by the windmill.

A gentle day for little ones to enjoy with their favourite teddy, set in the countryside here at the windmill.
