Great to have Lynden Gooch in the shop today! 👋

Current Huddersfield Town and former Sunderland man Lynden popped in and picked up a classic Sunderland shirt for his son.

Even better, he told us it was the first Sunderland shirt he wore himself when he was coming through the academy. ❤️🤍

Lynden made over 200 appearances for Sunderland, was part of the side that won promotion back to the Championship, and also represented the USA at full international level. 🇺🇸

He’s currently playing at Huddersfield in League One, good luck for the season.

Stories from that 1996/97 season where, after signing for Bryan Robson’s side for £7 million, he scored an incredible hat-trick on the opening day of the season versus Liverpool before going on to hit the back of the net 31 times as the Boro reached 2 domestic.

Proper cool this one. 🇹🇷🦅

2008/09 Besiktas fourth shirt by Umbro, finished with İbrahim Toraman 58 on the back.

One of four shirts produced by Umbro that season, and worn during one of the biggest seasons in the club’s history as Besiktas lifted both the Super Lig and Turkish Cup. Toraman was captain for the 4–2 Turkish Cup final win over Fenerbahce too.

Absolutely cracking football shirt in mint condition.
