good afternoon everyone, here is a small review for one of our books:
firstly we enjoyed Stephen king's Misery as it was a story that kept you on the edge of your seat and made you feel the fear the protagonist felt during his ordeal. the story focused on our protagonist Paul Sheldon, a famous writer going through some difficulty and hopes to finish the series that brought to fame so that he may focuses on other works, however after an accident that left him crippled he was saved by a woman known as Annie Wilkes, a seemingly kind though slightly childish woman that also happens to be Paul's number one fan, however Annie is far more dangerous than she leads on. this story is griping as it is terrifying that is a fine example of the dangers of being famous can bring and just want kind of dangerous people come to obsess over their idols. there was also a film adaption directed by Rob Reiner and stared Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes herself, she did an excellent rendition of the character and managed to switch between Annie's kind and deadly side seamlessly. we would highly recommend Misery to any King fan or someone looking for a good horror-thriller.
