Temperature today in my workspace 🥵🌡️
Unfortunately it’s far too hot to safely pour resin during the day, as temperatures like this can cause the resin to overheat and burn the flowers. So for now I’m having to wait until very late evenings once it has cooled down 💐✨

Surgery went really well and I'm taking it slow but feeling really good. I've spent the day catching up with admin and updating my website 💐
I’ve finally added a couple of new pieces that I’ve been meaning to upload for ages - including these beautiful bookends and this gorgeous cloud block

Tomorrow is surgery day, so I’ll be officially out of action for the next 2 weeks while I recover.
If you’re already booked in with me, please don’t worry I’ll still be taking flowers in as planned. My husband has very kindly been promoted to my assistant and will be doing all the running around for me… all under my very strict supervision, of course 👀😂

✨ A little personal update ✨
I've had a couple of meetings with my surgeon recently and after multiple scans we’ve had some really positive news….
My tumour has responded so well to chemotherapy that I’m now able to have a lumpectomy instead of a mastectomy - something that wasn’t even an option before.
This feels like a huge step forward and means a much shorter recovery time too.
Still more treatment ahead with surgery and radiotherapy but I’m so grateful for this progress 🩷

Today is my last chemotherapy treatment 🩷🎗

I wanted to share a little update with all of my lovely customers. Over the past few months, things may have been slower than usual and I know some of you have been waiting patiently for your orders. I’m so incredibly grateful for your kindness, support and understanding during this time.

Running my small business alongside treatment hasn’t been easy but it has also given me something positive to focus on and I’m so grateful for that.

Although this is the end of my chemotherapy, my treatment journey isn’t over yet - I still have surgery and radiotherapy ahead. I’ll continue to do my best to balance my health and my business and I’ll be working through orders as quickly as I can while allowing myself the time I need to recover.

Your patience truly means the world to me, and I can’t thank you enough for continuing to support my small business through such a challenging time 🩷🩷

I just wanted to share a quick update as I’ve been receiving a high volume of messages asking for updates, estimated completion dates and requests for orders to be finished by specific dates.
I completely understand how important these flowers are and how eager you are to receive your pieces.
As I’ve mentioned individually, I’m currently unable to provide exact turnaround times or guarantee completion by a certain date.

To give an idea, at the moment, my timeframe is approximately 28 weeks, however this is only an estimate and may vary depending on how I'm feeling.
Please be reassured that I am working through all orders as quickly as I can and your flowers are safe.
I kindly ask that you avoid messaging for updates or requesting specific completion dates. While I completely understand the anticipation, responding to a high number of messages does take time away from creating your pieces and can slow the process down further.
I will contact you directly as soon as your order is ready or if I need anything from you 🩷

I’ve had a pretty rough week - really fatigued and weak but I’m finally starting to feel a bit more like myself again.
One of the worst side effects (aside from losing my hair and feeling like crap) is the change in my taste buds. Everything and I mean everything tastes disgusting 😩

If you’ve emailed or messaged me and I haven’t replied, please do give me a little nudge. Chemo brain + no energy isn’t the best admin combo - I promise I’m not ignoring anyone on purpose 🩷
