The telephone box sits outside 'Through the Looking Glass' hairdressers on Yatton High Street. This used to be the Town Post Office and the owner of the hairdressers fought to keep the box after it was decommissioned. These old red telephone boxes are part of our heritage, they are a British icon and with so many disappearing I restored it to make it useful for the community once more.

Good afternoon everyone!! Yatton Red Box are updating the way we book swap. With Yatton getting so much bigger our red box cannot hold all the amazing books we want to swap and share. So with that in mind we would like to encourage everyone with large book collections to post pictures of their books they want to give away on this page for others to see and collect from each other directly.
