💕✨ A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME… HI, I’M MICHELLE! ✨💕
As we have so many lovely new faces joining our Ispy Market World, I thought I’d take a little moment to introduce myself properly and tell you a bit about me and what Ispy is all about! 🥰
So, I’m Michelle, the founder of Ispysparkles & Ispyevents, and I’m lucky enough to live on beautiful Dartmoor. 🌿🐴
I’m also a bit of a creative little soul! 🎨✨ I absolutely love making things, coming up with new ideas and generally keeping myself busy! 😂
Alongside Ispysparkles & Ispyevents, I also run my own engraving and bespoke gift business, creating personalised and unique gifts for all sorts of occasions. 🎁💖
And if that wasn’t enough, I also have my very own mobile Build-a-Bear business! 🧸✨
So, as you can probably tell… I’m not very good at sitting still! 😂💕
I love being creative, meeting people, supporting small businesses and coming up with new ideas.
🌟 And that’s really where the whole Ispy Market World comes in! 🌟
I organise outdoor markets across Devon and Cornwall, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to have the support of local councils and councillors for our markets. That support means so much to me and allows us to keep creating opportunities for local businesses. ❤️
But Ispy is about so much more than just putting up a few gazebos!
🌟 We want to give small businesses a stage of their own! 🌟
Whether you’re a brand-new business taking your very first steps or you’ve been trading for years, I want our markets to give you the chance to get your business out there, meet lovely new customers and show people what you do.
I LOVE seeing all the different businesses that come along. 🥰 Handmade, homemade, creative, quirky, unusual, delicious and everything in between!
We want to showcase those wonderful things that you simply don’t find on the high street. 🛍️✨
And there’s another really important part of what we do…
🏘️ Bringing people back into our town centres!
Our markets are about creating a lovely, busy and welcoming atmosphere where people can come along, discover new businesses, grab a coffee, have something to eat, browse the stalls and hopefully explore the local shops too. ☕🛍️
Because when we support a small business, we’re supporting someone’s dream. ❤️
And when we bring people into our town centres, we’re helping lots of local businesses at the same time. 🙌
I genuinely LOVE watching a market come together — the gazebos going up, everyone setting up their gorgeous stalls, meeting new faces, catching up with regulars and then watching the whole place come alive! 🥰
It can be hard work… VERY hard work sometimes! 😂 But seeing everyone smiling, meeting customers and enjoying themselves makes it all worthwhile.
