A rather special afternoon in Princetown today ✨

I was delighted to be invited along to the beautiful new Gather & Moor shop for a very special afternoon, as Prince William visited Princetown and popped into the shop.

It was such a lovely occasion, and I’m incredibly pleased that The Dartmoor Skincare Company is now stocked at Gather & Moor, with our hand cream, handmade soaps and hair bars all on the shelves.

There’s something particularly lovely about seeing products made here on Dartmoor being stocked in the heart of Princetown, alongside other wonderful local businesses.

A huge thank you to the team at Gather & Moor for inviting me today and for supporting small, local Dartmoor businesses. What a memorable afternoon 💙

A little homemade bedtime luxury 🛁🌿

I made my own Lavender & Geranium Bath Salts for a relaxing evening soak, and they smell absolutely gorgeous 💜

SAVE THE RECIPE 👇

For 1kg:

✨ 585g Epsom salts
✨ 200g coarse Himalayan salt
✨ 200g fine Himalayan salt
✨ 10g jojoba or fractionated coconut oil
✨ 4g lavender essential oil
✨ 1g geranium essential oil

Mix the essential oils into the carrier oil first, then combine really thoroughly with the salts and pop into an airtight jar.

I use around 75–100g in a warm bath and soak 🛁

Epsom salts are magnesium sulphate, so there’s no need to add separate magnesium flakes to this blend.

This will cost you a fraction of the price of buying luxury bath salts with essential oils.

A little heads up… 😊

I’m saying goodbye to one of my products.

My Hand Sanitiser spray and the refill bottle was created during the Covid pandemic when so many of us wanted a gentle, moisturising alternative to harsh alcohol gels. It’s served its purpose incredibly well over the years.

I only have a small amount of stock left, so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

A beautiful new shop and cafe is opening on Dartmoor in mid July, and I’m so pleased The Dartmoor Skincare Company will be part of it.
