Hi everyone! So, I've been absent for quite a while with my posting....So, let's start from the top with a little introduction post!
My name is Ebony, the face behind DaizyBloom. I live in Somerset and my 7 year old is my chief colour chooser 🫣🤣
I started my business earlier this year after making some gonks as presents for people last Christmas! My mum casually uttered the fateful words..."Well these would make sweet gifts..." and that was it I was off! Within the first week of January, I'd turned my dining room into a full on macrame studio, made 20 gonks and branched out into fairies, flowers and anything else I could think of.
This isn't the first time I've dipped into the creative pool, back in 2019 I started a small jewellery business and ended up making macrame bracelets during lockdown to raise money for food supplies for care homes. The therapeutic side of making the bracelets saved my sanity while we spent a LOT of time at home with a small baby!
I drink far too much coffee, Autumn is my favourite time of year, and I also like to over complicate my life by running a business, being mum and also running an allotment, growing the flowers and herbs to put into the plant hangers! Probably why I drink so much coffee!
