Fiona, also known as Quack Yarn, is a Scottish hand dyer who dyes every skein of yarn in small batches in her garage workshop at home in Yorkshire. This year she is taking her colour inspiration from the plants and creatures found in gardens and allotments, so come and explore among the leaves to find the perfect combination of brights, moody tones, and subtle colour blends for your next project (you might even find a neutral hiding somewhere!)

What a weekend, it was lovely to meet and chat with so many of you! Third time lucky, after having to cancel in 2024 and 2025 I eventually made it along to and it was well worth the wait. Debbie, Mand and Rosie put on such a well thought out and welcoming show so a huge thank you to them, the staff at , and my lovely stand neighbours , , , .yorkshire and !

I was the third to last vendor out of the hall and last out of the car park, hot on the heels of .and.the.squid (it's a big car for a little frog to load, after all!)

Gerald was made using pattern and if you point out how dirty my car is he'll be sad so shh 🤫🤣

Day one of The Wool Monty was so much fun! How about a quick tour of my stand in the form of a game I like to call "Hide and Seek with Gerald"!

Every time someone spotted him today I moved him to a new location, don't forget to tell me if you find him tomorrow!
