🌞 Sunday Morning Vibes! 🌞

What an absolutely outstanding day we had yesterday! We welcomed visitors from the southeast, west, and north, and it was a truly amazing morning & afternoon, a hive of activity.

The day was capped off with an exciting auction that kept us buzzing until just before midnight! 🎉 It’s been over a week since I got to enjoy a full five hours of sleep—finally hit the sack by 1 AM and was up at 6:15 AM, ready to seize the day!

By 8:30 AM, I had already completed 2️⃣ deliveries. You know what they say: “The harder you work, the luckier you get!” 🍀

We also had a repeat customer who we’ve met up with this morning & sold us even more fantastic items to find new 🏠 🙌

This morning, I’m off to play some golf, ⛳️ & I can't wait! If you can’t tell, my energy levels are back and rejuvenated! If you’d like to pop by later, it’s by appointment only—just name a time after 4 PM, and you’re more than welcome for a little private mooch around the barn. We are still buzzing from last night’s auction—what a fantastic turnout! It was a pleasure to welcome so many first-time buyers to our page. We finished just before 1 am, I’m waking up feeling completely energized.

We are currently heading to an antiques fair, hoping to bring back some beautiful new treasures for you all. On top of that, our recent hunting trip was a huge success, and we’ve stocked the barn with plenty of fresh, exciting pieces suitable for every home—new and old alike.

Happy Friday! ☀️ What an absolutely incredible night at the auction last night—we were still going into the early hours, and the energy was just electric! ⚡️

It’s been all systems go since 7 am today! We’ve already been busy packing up last night’s wins, and the first batch is heading to the post office now—that’s service within 12 hours of bidding! 📦💨

The pace isn't slowing down either, as we’ve got two more auctions lined up for today! Expect plenty of fun and laughs as we keep the momentum going. Between the auctions, we’re busy in the workshop putting the finishing touches on some gorgeous antique refurbishments. 🛠️✨

If you want to come down for a 'nosy' or to grab that special piece you’ve had your eye on, I’ll be at the barn from 12 pm today. Don’t leave it to chance—when they’re gone, they’re gone! 🏛️🌍

What an absolutely showstopping day!

We’ve been non-stop since the early hours of this morning, following our late-night auction finish.

Between constant packaging and shipping, welcoming customers in to collect their treasures, and heading out for local deliveries, we haven't slowed down for a second.

There is one piece of news that might break a few hearts—our beloved haberdashery unit has officially gone to an absolutely amazing new home. While it’s sad to see it go, we’re thrilled it’s off to such a great place!

We’ve also been busy finding new homes for some hidden gems, and it’s been a pleasure to welcome 2️⃣ families in with new items for us, plus a repeat couple who brought in half a dozen beautiful pieces to be sold through our ever-popular auction. Keep your 👀 peeled, because we have a couple of newly refurbished furniture pieces that I simply cannot wait to show you all!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It’s been a whirlwind of a week here at the barn. 🌬️

We’ve just taken in a bumper collection of coins, and to be honest, we’ve officially run out of safe space! (Watch this space coin 🪙 collectors and stackers alike tonight’s auction will be full!!) 👀

To keep everything secure, we’ve brought out a stunning Uruguay blue and gold safe from the sale room and moved it into a temporary position on the floor.

We’ve already sold two safes in the last six days… could we make it three in seven?

If you’re looking for security, meet "Mrs. Uruguay." She might look compact, but don't let her size fool you—she is mighty. Measuring 47cm deep, 62cm tall, and 45cm wide, she weighs in at a solid 128kg.

She is an absolute beast and definitely isn't going anywhere fast—not without a few extra-strong humans to help move her, anyway!

What can I say other than posting this worked, I’m glad the 2 followers who unfollowed us off the back of this post yesterday left us… do you know why!?

Because it made our page stronger 💪 getting rid of the weak despite a reduction in numbers IS NOT A LOSS ITS A GAIN & it’s EXACTLY what I want. Pure love ❤️ strong following & GENUINE.

Well, the weather in Yorkshire today is exactly how I’m feeling.

TERRIBLE TUESDAY…They say bad things come like London buses—you wait forever, then two arrive at once.

We’ve had nothing but 5️⃣ 🌟 reviews since we started, but yesterday, that streak ended with a 1️⃣ -star review that has left me a bit baffled. I believe in being transparent, so I wanted to share the situation with you all.

We sold a vintage full-length female mink jacket for £70( I know I must be absolutely off my rocker 🤣 but that’s what we do here we move things on fast and ultra competitive unbeatable prices & our reviews reflect that time and time again up UNTIL NOW 😡).

We were completely accepting of the fact that it needed a little bit of stitch work on the inner lining of the armholes, but the exterior was absolutely immaculate. For context, these jackets usually sell for between ÂŁ500 and ÂŁ1,000 in the vintage market.

I’m genuinely looking for some honest feedback here. Do you think this was a fair review (considering this is a repeat yet fairly new buyer to our platform they’ve exclaimed how they’ve received other items of fur for extremely cheap in the past from us and were all to happy with them and couldn’t believe the deals at the time), more importantly, what could I have done differently to avoid this?

🌟 What a terrific day we've had! 🌟

We spent the day picking up a few bits, making deliveries, and selling from the barn while also hosting some first-time visitors.

But the highlight was definitely our little adventure! We retraced the steps of my grandfather and my first black Labrador from nearly 20 years ago, exploring a local wood in search of old Victorian bottles.

Let me tell you, we encountered some towering stinging nettles—6 feet tall and about 300 yards of them to trudge through! 😅 But it was all worth it! Once we made it through that jungle, we discovered the old dumping site.

Back at it! 📦

Another busy Monday morning with more orders heading out the door. Second trip to the post office today incoming—can you believe it? Consistency is truly key in every business!

Check out this timelapse of me packing up an extra-large piece of art. It’s a process, but I love seeing these beauties head off to their new homes.
