Exciting times. I have been really rather busy over the last few months with my day job, which has meant that I have not been posting all that much. But in a few weeks I will be back at the grindstone and going to my first market since Easter. Also first time at the york river art market. Should be fun. Come on down!

Super size custom order: a ‘roided out version of my normal custom house banner, I had a request to make one as big as I could make. This one had to be cut by hand to fit the max capacity of my and then carefully aligned so the engraving was centred. Finished up at 30cm wide and 42 cm tall. I currently only have a Glowforge Plus model, but if I had the Pro version with pass through this could have been even bigger! One day!

I commandeered my wife’s Circuit cutting machine over the last few nights and had a go a making some stickers out of designs I have used on signs, coasters and bookmarks. I had a lot of different printable sticker paper and vinyl hanging around so seemed like the logical thing to do. Not sure what to do with them, might end up listing them on Etsy and seeing if anyone is interested.

Made this for a client a few weeks ago. They contacted me as they where having trouble finding a sign as large as they needed online. I made them one as big as my could make, approx 500mm x 300mm, Have yet to have a change to take a photo of it actually attached to the wall, but I drove past and it looks swish.

One of my newedest designs is this coaster based on the Heart of Yorkshire window in York Minster. I have lived in York for 9 year now and still manage to find inspration for the wealth of history, intesreting buildings and the distict under current of ghost stories and spooky tales. The Heart of Yorkshire window has quite a nice legend attached to it however, that says if a couple kiss under the window , then they will stay together forever.
