The next, someone’s tiny, someone else is enormous, the floor apparently can’t be trusted and your camera roll is getting increasingly difficult to explain. 😂

And that’s exactly how we like it.

A couple of our team have been out lending a hand with The York BID helping with a bit of painting and sprucing up around our wonderful city.

We’re incredibly lucky to have our attraction right in the heart of York, so it’s always nice to get stuck in and help look after the place we call home.

A big thank you to York BID for everything they do behind the scenes to keep York looking its best, and to our team for swapping optical illusions for paintbrushes for the morning! 🖌

And just like that… summer holidays, you’re done! 💙✨️

What a summer it’s been at The Puzzling World of Professor Kettlestring.

Thousands of visitors, busy days, baffled faces, ridiculous photos, plenty of laughter and more than a few people leaving with considerably less faith in their own eyesight than when they arrived. 😂

We’ve welcomed families, friends, couples and visitors from all over through our doors, and seeing you experience Puzzling World together is still our favourite part of what we do.

So, as the last of the summer holidays come to an end, we just wanted to say a huge thank you.

Thank you for visiting us, recommending us, leaving lovely reviews, sharing your photos, telling your friends and supporting our little independent, family-run attraction here in York.

One of the best bits of The Puzzling World of Professor Kettlestring is hearing the reactions as people make their way around, especially when someone is very confident they've figured an illusion out.

A new month has arrived… although we're not quite ready to say goodbye to the summer holidays just yet!

There are still plenty of days out to be had, ridiculous photos to take and optical illusions to leave you wondering exactly what your eyes are playing at. 😂
Whether you're squeezing in one of the last family days out before school starts or visiting York this September, Professor Kettlestring's curious creations are waiting.

One more week of summer holiday adventures… for plenty of you anyway! 👀☀️

While some are already heading back to school, lots of families still have another week of the summer holidays to enjoy – and we're very much still in summer mode at The Puzzling World of Professor Kettlestring.

So if you're looking for things to do in York with the kids this week, come and spend some time getting thoroughly confused by optical illusions, impossible perspectives and plenty of photo opportunities that won't make much sense afterwards. 😂

It's been an incredibly busy summer so far, and we've loved seeing so many of you through our doors.
