Wow! What a Day!🥳❤️🤩
Thank you to all of you who came and made it such a fantastic buzzing day! The results of the throw down challenge will be announced tomorrow 😁.
So many lovely folks in to have a go making, throwing and painting, the yard was a buzz of activity with craft stalls and cakes! Not to mention the activities going on in the village, check out their pages as I didn’t escape to see! What an achievement for a small community ❤️
But I did make it to my inspirational friend Andrian’s studio, first time in approx 20 years (as he’s mostly moved operations to his studio in Bolton Percy). He never fails to inspire. And great to see him on the wheel for the first time too!🤩
And after we had finally cleared up and cleaned down we finally got to the village hall to share a drink at the bar with the villagers and of course see the Art Challenge Mural, Wow again! It’s stunning and once again thank you to those from the studio community who got involved! I’m like a proud mama 🤭. It’s on display on the wall at the village hall so can be viewed anytime 😁.
A Special thank you to my fabulous team: Jo (who barely left the throwing room all day as there was a steady stream 🤪), Claire who expertly manned the pumpkin making and clipboard Shirley who manned the paint a pot and kept everything organised!
And Denise who got roped last minute whilst visiting!
Plus everyone else who got stuck in during the crazy weeks of preparing!
