And just like that we’re all feeling a bit September and switching to Autumn mode. 🧡 I’m even wearing my orange cardigan today to get in the mood!
So, I’m enjoying uninterrupted thoughts and the luxury of some time to plan, create and let my brain wander a little without distraction now Summer holidays have come to an end. Of course I did intend to do all my planning over summer but what the heck - I couldn’t get my head in that zone and focused. I find if I’m not near my work or immersed within it I’m switched off and family priorities take over. Some will probably say I’m fortunate to have that time off but believe me I take the financial hit! Paid annual leave it certainly isn’t!!
After a beautiful Summer of simple adventures and hosting my taster Summer screen printing sessions I’m happily working through some plans for Autumn and Winter.
An Instagram break wasn’t intentional - I do still love showing up on here and sharing what I’m doing or what I’ve seen but I no longer feel the need to make that constant and relentless 12 months of the year. My way has become a bit more pop by, post and go again. No endless scrolling allowed!
As always there’s lots going on behind the scenes and plenty keeping me busy. Thank you for your orders, commissions and workshop bookings. I’ll post new season workshops, plans for new work, designing and ideas for events over the next week.
