Directly copy pasted from Monarkki herself, the show is 2nd December, doors open 7pm at The Crescent, York.:

Hey hey folks hope you’re all well!

For those that don’t know who I am Hi, I’m Lily (Monarch) also known by the artist name Monarkki and it’s my dream to be famous and represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest (I know I sound crazy) but I have developed a plan for it, it starts with getting the attention of a Finnish tv company called YLE and I want to do this rather specific task to prove that trans people can do anything

I’m doing a show on the 2nd December at the Crescent York where in it I want to do a publicity stunt to get the attention of this broadcast company, the show will be recorded so I want to record a message to YLE.

The other content of the show will have me singing a few songs in Finnish (The Käärijä fans here might be happy) a couple of the parody songs I wrote based off the Inside by Bo Burnham album reframed to fit a trans perspective and some of my original music that I’ve released over the past few months

Tickets available via the link below:

It would mean the world to me if any of you could consider coming 💜

This is a long shot, but if you got on the number 6 bus at Asda, Layerthorpe tonight (10/04/2024), at around 9ish and sat next to me, and asked about the non binary bat badge on my bag, then I had to get off at my stop before saying more than "Etsy", on the off chance you look on here (which is more likely than you just coming across my personal social media) and see this post, I got it from this shop. Enjoy, Mal.
