We are so happy to be opening on Monday and to see you all again.
Good news-you can bring your donations to the store during opening hours without an appointment. All we ask is that you DO NOT leave donations in the doorway out of hours. As you can imagine this is a Health and safety problem for our volunteers and those living in the flat above. We look forward opening our door with happy hearts and smiles on Monday. WE HAVE MISSED YOU!

Please don't block the doorway with donations.
At the moment the lights may be out but there is someone home and we can't get out! 😉
Ring, email or PM us and we will arrange a slot for you to drop off your generous donations ASAP!

Great News! We are so excited to tell you that we will be open on Tuesday from 10 till 4 with reduced hours for the rest of the week!

Happy weekend everyone!
We are busy preparing to reopen and very much looking forward to seeing you all again.
In the meantime can we ask, again, that you DO NOT leave donations in our doorway. We are not able to process them safely at the moment and it is making it more difficult for us to enter the shop as the doorway becomes blocked!
We do wish to accept donations and we now have a “RING AND DROP” system in place. Simply ring us on 01423 324273 and we will give you a time slot for drop off.
Again, thank you so much for your continued support and we will see you soon.

LATEST UPDATE!

The team here at Oxfam Boroughbridge are working very hard on a plan to open our door as soon as possible. As we are sure you all appreciate the well being of all our team members and customers are our biggest priority.

Whilst we plan for the day when we can open our door and welcome you all back, we would appreciate your help in the following ways:

No matter how much we would like to accept your kind donations, we are currently not in a position to do so.

We have a large back log of donations in the store to be sorted. NO ONE has been allowed to work on the premises during lockdown-there is a lot of catching up to do!

We have very limited space for storage. We need to process the donations we have before we can accept more.We plan to have a ‘ring and ‘drop’ system in place for new donations when we reopen.

We have a very much reduced team of volunteers at he moment. We are in need of new volunteers. If you are interested in joining our team please PM us.

In short, our aim is to be back in action as soon as we can, hopefully by the end of June but we do not have a definitive date at this point. When we do you will are the first to know!

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters for your understanding and patience.

Can we again ask that you keep your very kind and much needed donations at home until we reopen and give instructions on how we will be able to safely operate moving forward?
