Haxby Hunt Alert!!

The Haxby bakehouse Ladybird hunt will take place between 11-12 Sunday 24th May 2026. You find it, you keep it.

As always there will be some additional locations, there will be a few clues for these on the day.

Rules of play:
One per person
No climbing on anything
No entering private property
No moving anything

Today has seen Haxby thronging with families taking part in the Family fun day & Sculpture trail, thank you to Sarah for her insight, her intuitive way with words, and her kindness to “give” she’s had a huge workload to endure for months to bring this event to our community. For those who haven’t yet done the trail, I’d highly recommend that you see the beautiful works of art that are on display, each with their personal backstory. “Hidden in plain sight” We are very lucky to have such loyal customers who support the many independent businesses in Haxby, you keep our doors open & our businesses thriving. We are open again 10-5pm tomorrow.. (closed Sunday&Monday) Happy Easter everyone!

Easter is here before we know it! We're open Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm, and then closed Easter Sunday and Monday. Don't miss our beautiful Easter decor, cards, and spring tableware! This Good Friday, join the family fun day at the memorial hall next door, featuring a ceramic Easter egg hunt, crafting, and more, all supporting the Haxby & Wigginton Youth & Community Association. Combine it with the Haxby Sculpture trail for a fantastic Easter weekend!

It's finally here! We're excited to be a part of the Eggsplore Haxby Sculpture Trail, a celebration of community and creativity. Sarah has outdone herself with these 15 amazing sculptures. Thanks to David Skaith, our Mayor, for backing local businesses and Emily for her marketing magic. Explore the trail until April 12th, find those hidden eggs, and you could take home a bespoke sculpture!
