MEET THE MAKERS 🙂🙂 Here are our faces from last Saturday, at about 6am, 1/4 of the way up 🥴🤪😂 I think we know most of our ‘followers’ (yuck hate that word and all it’s connotations 😂) thru meeting you all at markets or knowing you from school! (Big up Glanrhyd and Maes alum 👊🏻) BUT just in case, we thought we’d introduce ourselves! 👋🏻

We are sisters, not actual twins as many assume, BUT we may as well be 👯‍♀️ We grew up in Ystradgynlais ♥️ & have always been crafty - AKA we love making a mess and having a go at different creative projects, be it painting, calligraphy, baking ☺️🍰 We started Kindred last autumn as a creative outlet for ourselves! We are truly obsessed with candles & melts and have loved getting to grips with all of the science and process behind making them! ♥️

We are always looking for ways to become more eco friendly with our packaging! ♻️ We are fascinated with these potato starch packing peanuts! They are dissolvable in water, which makes for a couple of minutes of fun for kid’s and big kids alike! ☺️♥️

MOW THE LAWN 🌱 For us, the smell of freshly mown lawns is something that immediately makes us think of springtime! You know those lighter evenings, when you pop out for a walk after work to make the most of the sunshine and your skin is desperately soaking up all the vitamin D it can before an inevitable week of rain ensues 🌦😂 It’s something that I love about the Welsh, we never waste a sunny day! & as we were pouring candles the other day, Dad was mowing the lawn... it was a full circle moment 😂🌱🤍 We refer to this fragrance as our ‘marmite’ product because either you love the smell of cut grass or perhaps it just gives you seasonal allergy anxiety! 👀🙈 But it’s truly become a favourite of ours... it’s a super fresh and clean, bright and citrusy fragrance and we love it! 🌱🍋🤍

OPEN WINDOWS 🍃 This is turning out to be one of our popular scents! Nothing like a bit of fresh linen to evoke that feeling when you’ve opened all the windows and aired out the house after a long winter... except we can’t keep our windows open too long in Wales because it’s still freezing 😂🥶 so this will do the trick!
