Is there a reliable person living on or near Les Genats who drives into work each morning and would like some petrol money? I’m looking for someone to give Alan a lift to the charity shop while the road is closed and the buses aren’t running as it is too much to expect him to walk to Grandes Rocques especially during the winter months (I believe this is an issue until December). This can be any time between 6.30 and 8.30am and he can wait outside. He has a fold-up walker so you will need a bit of extra space in the car. If you are interested, message me for more details. I have a notice in the changing room but people are still too lazy, ignorant or both to put things back. There are TWO OF US covering the shop floor at the moment… 6 days a week, 9 hours a day. I come in at this time of night to restock and I have to spend time putting things back… not just ten items of clothing left but where things have been emptied out of one basket and into another, things opened and not put back, glasses that have been moved to another shelf while the person is getting what they want. On top of that today I had somebody steal a £3 item this morning and kindly leave me the empty bag and three girls in this afternoon stealing. People will wonder why the shop is closed down one day 🤬

Don’t forget on our second floor we have the GSPCA pet room where everything is by donation and then our imaginatively titled BIG STUFF room where everything is half price. In the BIG STUFF room we have all our fancy dress items which are by donation so get ahead of book days and other school dress up days and come take a look. Some adult costumes available too. PLEASE KEEP TIDY…. We might not be upstairs but we can see you! 😁

STOCK CLEARANCE EVENT…. We are open on Sunday for a sale of all of our winter clothes plus access to the stock room for a first look at the summer stock. We are unbelievably a quarter way through the year but maybe you need an appointments calendar.? Maybe you didn’t get one for Christmas 😫. We have brand new calendars kindly donated by Clintons now for just 50p each.
