HISTORY
Founder, Cecil Stonelake, began selling perfume, toiletries and shaving products from 5 Smith Street in 1911. This shop was the heart of the business for 105 years. As well as being a well regarded pharmacist, Cecil Stonelake also manufactured and sold fragrance. In 2016 Stonelakes underwent a rebrand when the next generation of the family took over the business. Part of this rebranding included moving premises to 27 Commercial Arcade and changing the direction of the shop to focus more on bath and beauty, seasonal gifting and a bespoke hamper service. Stonelake & Co are still going to stay true to its traditions and will still be stocking those hard to find timeless classics. A special effort is being made to stock ranges that are no longer readily available in the UK. So if you cannot find what you are looking for, a fragrance finding service is also offered for those even harder to find nostalgic fragrances.

Looking for a Saturday project?! We've got the perfect pampering day secret weapon!

Did you know about the many uses of coconut oil?!
Firstly, we know it's fab for cooking- but it can also be used as the perfect everyday beauty tool!

Coconut oil is amazing for moisturizing your hair and adding shine and gloss to those brittle ends! It will, unlike any other oil, moisturise the hair inside-out instead of just the surface and help prevent split ends!
Add drop of oil to the ends of your hair before you run out the door, or leave it in as a deep moisturizing mask overnight!

Another hack would be using it to prevent that cakey- foundation look! Mix a drop of coconut oil with any liquid foundation before applying. You will notice what huge difference it will make on your skin! Flawless coverage without that oily or cakey look!
