Here's a snapshot of what August looked like in the studio. Varied work as ever, but I won't lie - hoping this stage of glaze development will be over soon so I can focus on other things. And note to myself: don't develop new glazes in the peak of the summer, wearing a respirator at 30+ degrees isn't fun. Anyway, bring on September ✨

Making good progress with developing this glaze. I've taken care of the drips and the excessive pooling, and added some warm pink/purple undertones, which I'm a huge fan of 🥰 Still need to fine tune some bits but it's nearly ready! It's going to be a very special glaze ✨

If you've been following my stories, you'll know that I've spent the past 6 weeks or so developing a new glaze from scratch. Glaze development is so time consuming but nothing beats the joy of making a glorious glaze from a bunch of powders. Makes me feel like a wizard :D Here's one of the glaze iterations on one of the mini hex sauce pots, isn't it beautiful?
