🖌️ When it comes to Andy Warhol’s art, I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan, I have much more conservative tastes.

🖋️ But that statement, and his style, talk about a visionary!

💙 Montblanc released the Great Characters - Andy Warhol series roughly a decade ago, but this pen still stands out. Unique styling, with an aggressive graphic quality, and a grand cap inspired by the famous Campbell’s soup can. 👌🏼

💡The M1000 is an irresistible pen, and a pen that eventually makes its way into almost every collection. This makes any special or limited edition based on the M1000 a strong candidate for our top pen of the year.

🦚 SCRIBO PIUMA ARA L.E. - I understand this pen was inspired by the Ara parrots, but it just speaks directly to the peacock inside me!

🦜 Limited to just 90 pieces, this wonderful pen features hand-painted resin, in colors inspired by the plumage of the tropical parrot species.

🤙Each pen is decorated by hand, so they each show a unique pattern. Crucially, the paint is covered by a UV-protective coating, that will safeguard the vibrant colors.

⚖️ A true giant amont pens, and one of the most glorious nibs in the market. Have you tried the BB size of the Emperor?

🤫 Novices are surprised by the size of the Namiki Emperor, but expert users appreciate the surprisingly low weight of the ebonite, and the comfort offered by the pen’s considerable girth. The huge ink capacity just kicks in later.

🐢🌊MONTEGRAPPA SEA SHEPHERD CARETTA CARETTA L.E.

🤓Waited long enough to receive this one, my first request went out back in December 2025, but it was certainly worth the wait.

🌊 The sea simply means so much to me, so any edition with a marine theme jumps out.

💙This particular collaboration between Montegrappa and Sea Shepherd, dedicated to the Caretta Caretta turtles, though goes one step further.

🏴‍☠️Made of recovered (and recycled) ghost nets, the pen brings a new tactile experience to the world of writing. Fine engraving of turtles among waves (or is it sand dunes?), a dedicated 18kt gold nib, and sterling silver fittings complete this beautiful edition limited to 333 numbered fountain pens.

🖤THIS IS NOT A 4810 MONTBLANC. But if you liked the Montblanc Alexander von Humboldt 4810, then it is a pen to die for: the 888 version.

🖤The same naturalistic design transferred on 18kt gold and black onyx, the beautiful mother of pearl emblem on the cap top, the full weight of this pen. 👌🏼

💯It is fast becoming one of my favorite Patron of Art 888 versions, although I can’t say if it tops the tribute to J. P. Morgan!
