The day Tiny Amp Destroyer went live, Jannis was nowhere near the office.

He was at Music Village, surrounded by musicians, pedals, cables, notebooks and all sorts of instruments, teaching a workshop on effects and experimenting with sound.

Cellos through pedals. Flutes through pedals. Loopers, samplers, strange signal chains and plenty of noise.

While we were busy launching TAD, Jannis was busy doing what he loves most: making things, trying things and passing it on.

Long live the craft.

TAD gave us the chance to collaborate with artists we had admired for years, each bringing something new to the project....

Jason Galea’s work is woven into King Gizzard’s visual world, from their records and videos to posters and live shows. For TAD, he created an original piece around the idea at its core: something held in place, forcing its way out.

Stu had just received the very first Tiny Amp Destroyer prototype, ahead of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's residency at Lycabettus Hill. A little over a year later, Tiny Amp Destroyers are making their way to their new owners.

It’s been quite a ride getting here.

This feels fresh. This feels different. In all the right ways.
