Gancia is an Italian w**e-making company which produces a broad range of sparkling and still w**es from the Piedmont region.

The company was founded in 1850 in Turin by Carlo Gancia. He is known as the father of Italian sparkling w**e, producing the first sparkling w**e made with the Traditional Method in Piedmont in 1850 on his return from France where he studied ch*****ne production techniques.

After 15 years of trials and small batches, he commercialized it on a large scale in 1865. This innovative w**e is still produced today, a premium Asti DOCG, aged for at least 24 months.

OUR LANDS
The story begins at our single-estate in Russia’s Tambov region. This envied land was chosen specifically for its fertile black soil – an idyllic environment for growing ultra-high quality grain.

SINGLE SOURCE GRAIN
Each harvest of grain is carefully inspected before it is accepted into the distillery. Then, they are slowly fermented before being distilled three times to create a spirit so pure that no traces of methanol can be found.

MINERAL RICH WATERS
The distilled spirit travels to the famed Latvijas Balzams facility in Riga, Latvia where it is blended with artesian well waters from deep below the earth.

PURIFICATION
The spirit is then filtered through super-fine quartz sand to begin the removal of impurities. Next, the flow rate is accurately set through Russian birch wood charcoal to optimise the filtered, untainted spirit.

FREEZE-FILTERED AT -18 °C
To ensure perfection, the spirit goes through our signature freeze-filtration process at -18˚C. The super-chilled spirit is then passed at an ultra-slow velocity through ion-charged filters and is allowed to rest.

HIGHLY-RATED
The spirit is now ready to be bottled by hand. The distinctive bottle holds a visible luminosity as remarkable as the liquid inside. As one of the highest-rated white spirit in the world, the result is flawless clarity, a rolling mouthfeel and a presence in the glass unlike any other.

Hendrick's Gin is a brand of gin produced by William Grant & Sons at the Girvan distillery, Scotland, and launched in 1999.
It was invented by Lesley Gracie, a Yorkshire native, who was hired by William Grant & Sons to work in new liquid development for some of their products. A decade later she was tasked with creating a new super-premium gin.
In addition to the traditional juniper infusion, Hendrick's uses Bulgarian rose and cucumber to add flavour. Hendrick's gin is bottled in a dark brown, apothecary-style bottle.

Hendrick’s is an unusual gin created from eleven fine botanicals. The curious, yet marvellous, infusions of rose & cucumber imbue our spirit with its uniquely balanced flavour resulting in an unimpeachably smooth and distinct gin.

Hendrick’s Gin’s unique (and dare we say unusually alluring) flavour comes from roses and cucumbers combined with a divine blend of eleven other botanicals, and the use of two distinctly different stills. The result is an exquisitely balanced gin.

Based at our Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland Ms Lesley Gracie is our Master Distiller — and the inventor of Hendrick’s Gin. Part alchemical genius, part liquid poet and part scientist — Ms Gracie is one of the world’s greatest gin innovators.

(Red) Characteristics:
A complex, translucent red, with deep, attractive highlights. Red-fruit aromas, with notes of spice and leather on the nose. A balanced w**e, with a smooth, full mouth feel, culminating in a long, fulfilling aftertaste.

Vinification:
Traditional red vinification, with pre-fermentation maceration for Agiorgitiko, and post-fermentation maceration for the Cabernet. Fermentation at 28 ο C or lower. The young w**e ages for approximately 12 months in French- and American-oak barrels.

(White) Characteristics:
Golden straw colour, a pleasant, youthful character, showing fruity, floral aromas, combining a cool acidity and a structured mouth.

Vinification:
Pre-fermentation cold maceration for a few hours. Separate fermentation for each variety. Must fermentation at temperatures up to 15°C. After fermentation, the young w**e sits on its lees for a few weeks.

Crème Brûlée
The careful hand toasting of our barrels lends notes of vanilla and caramel that mature to evoke a warm crème brûlée aroma.

Candied Orange
Delicate aging in oak produces this sweet aroma that originates from the Grande Ch*****ne crus.

Iris Flower
The sweet and powerful bouquet of irises comes from matured Borderies cognac.
