Step by step nuno felting: Project: Pashmina " Olive picking " ( Το μάζεμα της ελιάς ). Getting the table ready, sketch ideas and select colours of merino wool and mulberry silk fibres, lay the wool to create an abstract image, wet all the design thoroughly, with warm and soppy water, using olive oil soap. Then roll the project on a rolling pin until the wool incorporates into the silk fabric and creates the nuno felting
Finally, rinse out the soap of the design and continue the rolling of the new fabric until it has been felted completely.
