Michelle, thank you for all that you do for our girls. Today and every day, we celebrate you.

Such a fabulous day! Part of our work is raising awareness of the plight of displaced people and promoting empathy and understanding.
Today, we were extremely happy to welcome another group of high school students from the USA.
Eric gave them lots of information and answered their questions.
They had time to chat with the community volunteers at the hope project.
We talked about the situation here and what's happened over the last few years.
We talked about dignity, empowerment, and how everyone can make a difference in this world. Especially in your own community, a kind word, and an ear to listen is where to begin.
Together, we are stronger.
If we stand together, we can change the world 🌎
We thank the students and teachers for their visit and their questions.

This has been happening for years on the island poisonings,skeletons on chains, animals alive in plastic bags in bins and in tied bags on beaches in full sun, horses legs tied together with there neck tied to there hoffs, when I've discussed the amount of cruelty one man said animals don't have souls there like a chair or table, there a lack of education and something needs to be done, the year is 2023 not 1823. The worse thing I've seen was when I first arrived on the island back in 2000, I walked into a restaurant in the winter and three men were playing football with a kitten and people in the restaurant were cheering, only last week we took a puppy in that was hungry and cold its a constant battle for the animal welfare teams.

3 αδέσποτα σκυλιά και ένα δεσποζομενο λυκόσκυλο μέσα στην μάντρα δολοφονήθηκαν με φυτοφαρμακο, σύμφωνα με την νεκροψία. Έχει γινει καταγγελία στην αστυνομία. Αν έχετε πληροφορίες που θα οδηγήσουν στην ταυτοποίηση του δράστη, επικοινωνήστε με την ΚΙΒΩΤΟ Μυτιλήνης
