Mezè [Μεζέ] — a little story of Greek summer, carved and printed by hand. 💙
A small table. Two traditional chairs.
A pot of basil. A sleepy cat.
Octopus drying above, and two little glasses waiting beside a bottle of ouzo.
All the familiar little details that somehow feel like summer in Greece.
The illustration began as an original drawing before being carefully carved by hand into lino. Each element was then individually handprinted onto soft cotton canvas using non-toxic, water-based ink.
On the other side, another hand-carved linocut simply reads “μεζέ” — a little word carrying so many tastes, conversations and summer memories with it. The same print continues onto the handmade wrist strap.
Finally, every pouch is cut and sewn by hand in our little workshop in Rhodes.
No two prints are ever exactly alike. The tiny variations in colour and impression are traces of the process — and part of what makes every piece unique.
A sweet memory of the Greek summer, made slowly by hand.
