Following the series of our Greek Doric temple tealights this is the god of war Ares rest in his temple.
Ares is portrayed as young and beardless and seated on a trophy of arms, while an Eros plays about his feet, drawing attention to the fact that the god of war, in a moment of repose, is presented as a love object.
Except the mythological touch i want to share that this exact statue is the original sign logo of my favorite and one of the most famous teams in Greece!
