Syria...the longest piece of art it took me to make!...not because of it's technicality but because of the research on each region to decide what to choose, because of the emotion and story each region brought, and because I never wanted it to finish and wanted to take my time...
Looking forward to see this piece hanged with the actual light from behind lightening up my country...
Syria...until we all meet again in our homeland!

Book holders made by the women of Irida and Gift Storia...the women asked for it and we made it together!...they needed to be meticulous for pieces to fit in and were very excited by the results..."I will continue painting mine at home with my son, I want him to be involved in our new piece, I will send you a picture of what we made" said a woman proudly!

Another workshop with Gift Storia ... women menbers of Irida are getting more experienced and I can clearly see the progress and confidence, they enjoyed making their own clocks inspired by their personality, hobbies and tatoos...wonderful outcomes, lots of fun and meticulous work!

The past month women enjoyed tailoring and designing their boxes with gift storia...that was a meticulous job and a small error would make the pieces not fit in!... Boxes were filled with messages "choose love", "irida", names, some were gifts to a friend and everyone had different concepts on the special things they would put inside!
