✨ Our Last Open Mic Monday at Emporium Ixchel ✨
Tonight July 13th.
It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are.
Thank you to every incredible musician who filled these walls with beautiful songs, laughter, and magic every Monday night—and so many other nights throughout the week. You gave this place a soul.
To all the traveling musicians who wandered in and jumped into the jam, thank you. You made every night unique, spontaneous, and unforgettable. Those moments could never have been planned, and they became some of our favorite memories.
A special thank you to Roho and Andree for standing by us through the slower seasons and helping keep the music alive when we needed it most. And to River and Benny, thank you for planting the seeds that started this incredible tradition. You created something truly special.
It has been one of the greatest honors of our lives to host this community. None of it would have been possible without every musician, every listener, every friend, and every person who walked through our doors and shared a little piece of themselves with us.
With heavy hearts, we announce that we will be closing. Our final day as a restaurant will be Saturday, July 18.
Thank you to everyone who laughed, danced, sang, played, celebrated, connected, and made memories with us. We have loved every minute of this beautiful journey, and we'll carry these moments with us forever.
We had one heck of a great time.
Join us tonight for our final Open Mic Monday, and help us celebrate the only way we know how—with music. We'll be filling this last week with as much live music, love, and gratitude as we possibly can.

Es difícil expresar con palabras lo agradecidos que estamos.
Gracias a todos los músicos increíbles que llenaron estas paredes de hermosas canciones, risas y magia cada lunes por la noche —y tantas otras noches a lo largo de la semana—. Ustedes le dieron alma a este lugar.
A todos los músicos viajeros que llegaron de paso y se unieron a las improvisaciones: gracias. Hicieron que cada noche fuera única, espontánea e inolvidable. Esos momentos, imposibles de planear, se convirtieron en algunos de nuestros recuerdos más preciados.
Un agradecimiento especial a Roho y Andree por acompañarnos en las temporadas más tranquilas y ayudarnos a mantener viva la música cuando más lo necesitábamos. Y a River y Benny: gracias por sembrar la semilla que inició esta increíble tradición. Crearon algo verdaderamente especial.
Ha sido uno de los mayores honores de nuestras vidas acoger a esta comunidad. Nada de esto habría sido posible sin cada músico, cada oyente, cada amigo y cada persona que cruzó nuestras puertas y compartió un pedacito de sí misma con nosotros.
Con el corazón encogido, anunciamos que cerraremos nuestras puertas. Nuestro último día como restaurante será el sábado 18 de julio.
Gracias a todos los que rieron, bailaron, cantaron, tocaron, celebraron, conectaron y crearon recuerdos con nosotros. Hemos disfrutado cada minuto de este hermoso viaje y llevaremos estos momentos con nosotros para siempre.
Lo pasamos increíblemente bien.
Acompáñennos esta noche en nuestro último lunes de micrófono abierto y ayúdennos a celebrar como mejor sabemos hacerlo: con música. Llenaremos esta última semana con toda la música en vivo, el amor y la gratitud que nos sea posible.
