Did you know, that not all solar streetlights or products are compared equally!
We laugh at this matter as to some people. Who thinks that, the cheaper product. Would compare to higher ones.
Here is a fact: All solar products are created to meet a certain budget for any consumer.
Here listed today are the differences. When it comes to shopping for a particular type of solar streetlight.
FACT: Lower voltage solar streetlights. Can be made more for residential installations.
Why? They are more affordable when it comes to pricing.
Con: They do not perform as well compared to higher voltage solar streetlights.
On rainy days, cause the solar panels. Are at low voltage plus the battery is only made to produce and store 3.2v-3.5v.
Plus the battery capacity is only made to stand for 12hrs. Low voltage types do not store. Adequate power to run thru the night.
Rainy days are a true test of your solar products!
High Voltage:
Facts- Higher voltage solar streetlights. Could produce and perform a lot greater. Then low voltage types.
On rainy days- higher voltage types. Can still absorb sunlight on whatever is given thru the day.
How is this possible?
With a higher voltage solar panel. Plus a higher voltage batteries and capacity. All high voltage products store more energy. On any sunny day.
They do not run lower the capacity level on any night. Thus come a rainy day. You will still have adequate power. To run efficiently at night.
This technology is why high voltage products. Are a bit steep when it comes to pricing.
Size does matter- when it comes to solar. Low voltage types could boast up to 300w now in the market.
However, you still cannot compare a 300w low voltage type to 40w high voltage type.
The performance is way different between the two.
Remember folks- when you buy cheap. You will get cheap!
Please skim thru the product. Ask questions, plus warranty should be standard. Not another cost to add.
